【価値観の違い/Difference of Values】
【こんな事がありました/This is what happened】
ある日の居酒屋で。私は何も考えずに
「あ〜、早く結婚してこども欲しいな〜。あなたと家族が欲しい！」
と言いました。
なーんにも相手からの反応は期待せず、ただ楽しみな事を言ったものですが、その後彼の様子はなんかおかしい。
さようならしてからもう一回会いに来て、
「僕には夢があるんだ。それには長い時間がかかる。今は結婚とか考えられないよ。」
と、言いに来てくれました。
私は真剣に私の気持ちを尊重してくれた彼の気持ちが嬉しかったです。
One day, in a bar, I said "oh how wonderful if I could have a family and baby with you!"
Nothing mean contain in this sentence to me, I just said because I just thought.
but he seemed a little sad. After we said goodbye, he came back to me and we had talk.
He told me that he have a dram since he was little that he gonna do business with his friends. He promised them. And it going to take long time. So he can't think about marriage in this life stage.
I was glad that he thought about my feelings sincerely and respect them.
「結婚」と言う言葉が意味するものは、みんなそれぞれ違います。私と同じ日本で生まれ育った友達にとっても、イメージするもの、重さ、価値は全く違います。どの言語でも一つ一つの言葉には、話者の経験が宿っていて、重さが違うんだな。という事を経験しました。
そして、意見が異なってもジャッジせず、話し合って時間と共に気持ちをすり合わせていけばいい。と言う彼の姿勢に感激しました。
Since that day, I learned a ward, "marriage" have a different meaning to every person. Even though I grow up in same country with one of my friends, she have different image, value, and meaning from me. I experienced that every person has their own experience to the word.
Also I was strongly impressed by his attitude that he never judge the difference of thoughts. He was like we just talk and little by little we can walk to each other. We have time and any possibility.
